It was usual evening walk around the park and as usual scene, almost 8:30 pm health conscious folks taking brisk walk , few mixed age couples resting on benches, Bhelwala, Vegetablewala around the gate, kids playing,evening filled with mixed noise. but wait a minute,

There is an odd man out kind of pair on the side bench which took my attention. ( Its like you watch matrix movie and there is black cat noticed by Neo) A School uniform girl may be in her 9th/10th classs straight from tution to park with her friend (?) who looks pakka loafer (eyes, hairEstyle, shoes, dressing, Bali in ear etc.. typical features.) ,

Loafer sitting aaramse on the bench and girl conscious about crowd and siting extreme end of bench to the corner in attentive position. Their are mixed emotions on her face ( Adventure, nervous, guilt, shyness ). She is like few extra pounds but her face and innocence in eyes says she is school girl. And looks like Loafer in his mission towards his intention...

I keep walking...

Round one : I notice this is strange and should not be like this.... I think what could be possible reason , hear some Kannada words from boy that whats problem giving your hand in my hand...

Round two : Hand in Hand but from very distant, looks unease. neighboring bench one mid age housewife with another house wife watching over them with BIG eyes.

Round three : I still feel more unease to slap that loafer but existing profile , language barrier do not allow , god knows they may be knowing each other why poke nose in others business.

Rounds four : I make my mind, lets inform security on the garden that this is unusual and let him decide what to do as he understand them. There can be one special blog written about this fellow, he is aged one , may be in his 60's , Sometime I feel he is HIGH on some Ganja / local arak but he does his job strictly. He will do some policing , shoe away college students trying to use kids Zula or anybody who is doing chidimari etc... He make his presence felt. He will close that garden sharp at 9:00, He speak only Tamil and sometime we speak body language Hi/ Hello/ little bit hindi,english,kannada . I inform him in mix Indian language, Ondu school udugi , sitting @#@%$#%^ some thing something ondu loafer maga #$#$ something something .. some body language towards dirrection.. problem idiya..

Round four : About to reach that bench ..Security on his way , there is one police already holding loafers neck in RIGHT hand and little bit crowd and same two middle aged housewives angrily conversing in kannada, Mane ogi, En tution , yesru yenu...nimma address... yen idiya ? So you can make out that this thing is taken care by Active watchful citizens.

Girl full of tears and Loafer is not revealing his correct identity, no saaar DL illa , helmet illa... But police wala (looking smarter) not leaving him pushing around.

Round five onward : I keep thinking , This is Jagrut city , citizen cares, If you fall from bike somebody will collect your helmet, somebody will collect your spectacle, somebody will collect mobile, Hushaaar idiya ? Paani beqa ? People will stop and gather around you. Its not mechanical , there is time for you in their schedule. Things which are not accepted are really not accepted. Be it park , be it on road, I love Bangalore...

What worked for me till date :

• Buy a steam vaporizer for kids , I found this good, steaming before good night and early morning helps, It also will maintain moisture in house.
• Apart from Dr recommended medication, Drink a spoon of honey and ginger (just crush it and create a spoonful juice)
• Protect from Cold. It aggravates the problem. buy thermal set , ask to wear socks in house, Buy room heater.
• Do not allow to play in dust ( who listens ?)
• Try not to eat out (Panipuri, kachori,samosa, ice creams, chips,Pizza,cold drinks) Did I mentioned Kurkure and Cheetos and road side ice candy (worst you can do )
• Hot steam vapors a Must.
• Hot water gargling.
• Build the immunity in Summer time when the problem is less ( Join swimming )
• Do not give milk product (Chemical Milk , result in gas formation, stomach will be upset and you will go mad without knowing whose causing damage...Cow milk if possible, even though milk man adds water its ok, at least chemical he will not add.
• 3 month just take precaution , after certain age it will reduce. Most of the kids have these symptoms. Doctor will give symptomatic treatment.

12th Sept 2010:

Homeopathy works best, All the sufferings are now gone. I found one good homeopathy doctor. who explained me the whole cycle and took care.

This is a complex phenomenon when I think about it.

All the year we see some one or other constructing house / floor raise / redoing apartment work etc. People keep digging roads, Builders keep building , everywhere construction and noise is common scene. 

Pollination is bigger problem here. Its hell for allergic people.

Passport : Easy

I applied passport for my wife and kids thru "Bangalore One" located in Sarakki, J.P. Nagar 1st phase Bangalore. "Bangalore One" is one of the innovative idea where you can shield tax paying class from dealing with lazy careless govt folks (Experience speaks !!!) .

On 21st Sept, I went to Bangalore One office to apply 3 new passports. Lady at counter Yeshaswini greeted me after one hour cause she was covering all details with the customers on how to fill up passport application, what are documents needed , what photos needed , what needs to be attested etc.. Different folks, different queries answering with same energy and enthu to every customer. Customer support glitter was there in her eyes.

I was watching her carefully , no sign of tiredness ( Its hard to pretend the smile unless you love what you do.)

when my turn came it was almost an hour , she listened carefully explained same to me which took 20-30 minutes, I felt assured. BTW if you submit your application at "Bangalore One" you need make photocopies attested by some gazetted officer. ( This is strange when Actual passport office accept them as self attested ) Go Jayanagar 4th block and find some notary

Next day I went again thinking I got everything needed, I filled up application carefully in which lady found incompleteness at 4-5 places. after that Her manager verified application and originals ( I was feeling that these guys are more good than any actual passport officer - no chance of mistakes at any column This guy , the Manager found 2 places of incompleteness after the lady , I was about to fall by wonder.

Bottom line : Everything was so well assured that there is no chance of mistakes in Name / address / birth dates etc.. They will give you print out of what system has been entered etc..and get confirmation from you.

I felt kind of gratitude towards them. It took 1.5 hour , there was some power failure in area and no photocopier was working. The attitude to serve was exceptionally outstanding !!
Neither private ( I can say Kingfisher ) service can match them with the number of crowd they handle.

Today on 26th my wife gets a call from J.P. Nagar police station that she needs to come for verification. I visited online passport website and could track the status of my passport online stating that It went to police station for verification. Wav !!! Chuk De.

In the evening I went to JP Nagar police station for passport verification. Initially my mind was clouded with thoughts that how to deal with this guy anticipating he will demand money, how he will treat us ? main fear is of irrelevant demands for documents , insulting gesture / remarks ,(read they look at you like you are some Dacoits or burglar etc.. you feel vulnerable whenever you visit any Govt. office, A fight in mind starts Why I love this country ? with other that Its my country and I love it. So mind gets into dialogue and argument on proving why this is a country with jungle laws which are unstoppable vs what are beauties of our folks.

To my surprise experience was warm. Police station was clean, Neat parking place , officers were looking neat dressed , there was a cop who guided us ( Me n wife ) whom to contact , there was waiting room placed with chairs. Moment I went to room , It did not felt uneasy , officer asked few question, Did some paper work asked for some signatures ( matter on one application was in Kannada which we can not understand but signed ) asked for latest telephone bill which we did not took along with us hence I needed to revisit the place ( I confirmed in mind that when I go alone the guy will demand money ) But this did not happened , He took the bill asked if I really need the original else he will attach the same with application. Assured that he will send report tomorrow. No gesture or sign to ask for money.

This was surprise to me. I felt worried ( you cant help it ) If Govt officers do not ask money then its a trouble, either he will not do the thing which he assigned for else he will make you visit 4-5 times until you give up and say how much you need....?

Now I have crossed my fingers anticipating that officer will send report tomorrow and I will able to track the request online. If this happens I will be on Top of the world..Will prove myself that things are changing and we are no more corrupt nation. It gives feeling of iBelong here.

I will revisit this blog when I gets passport.
